Art Helping Rescues

Animal Rescues are imperative in our society today. They do wonderful work for animals that have been abused, abandoned or need to be re-homed. They are a very valuable part of many animals lives, and make a huge difference for most who travel through their doors.

I will be periodically offering a portrait to auction for the Jack Russell Rescue of Ontario, with all proceeds from the auctions being donated to the rescue.

I will also periodically be donating to specific charities/rescues/shelters, pieces of artwork that they can sell, with the proceeds going to that particular group.

Butterfly Dog - For the Papillon Canada 2007 Specialty

"Butterfly Dog" was donated to the Papillon Club of Canada Specialty 2007, and the proceeds raised from the portrait were donated to the Papillon Rescue.

In Memory of Harper 2007 - Donated to JRT Rescue of Ontario

"Harper" was auctioned off at the Jack Russell Terrier Rescue of Ontario and all proceeds from the auction went to this worthy cause.

Pickles and Coffee - Acrylic 2007

The "Pickles and Coffee" image was donated to PetSmart Charities for their "Just a Buck, Change their Luck" Campaign Spring 2008. This image will be available on merchandise and proceeds will go to help support spay/neuter, adoption, retention, and education programs.

May 2008 - Through this wonderful campaign, PetSmart was able to surpass their original goal of $130,000 and was able to raise over $140,000 for homeless pets. All funds raised within a community stayed in that community to help local Canadian welfare agencies across the country. Thank you so much to all those who donated!

The original portrait "Mom & Son, Rescue Rat Terriers" is being donated to the Rat Terrier ResQ auction. All proceeds from the sale of this portrait through the auction will go to support the Rat Terrier ResQ. The auction is being held in April 2008.
